September 6
The annual back-to-school event, Cravestock, has been moved from the usual new student orientation day to the first Thursday of the school year, September 6. Gates open at 3 p.m. and live music starts at 5 p.m. This event is free for students, alumni and employees. Tickets are $5 for the general public.

* Please note: a sound check will occur in the F-wing courtyard at 1 p.m. The Students' Association apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to classes.


Homecoming 2012

Get ready to Shake, Rattler n' Roll! Everyone is welcome to bring the whole family on campus for a fantastic day of free events including the ATB Family Fun Zone, Rattlers Men's and Women's soccer, a free, all ages concert and fireworks. Rattlers Hall of Fame Breakfast
Come out and celebrate the past successes of the Rattlers Athletics program at MHC. This year's Hall of Fame inductees are Arnie Frank and the 1988/89 National Championship mixed curling team.

Gwynne Dyer: The Triumph of Non-Violence

At one level, this lecture is about the revolutions of the “Arab Spring” and what they will mean for the region and the rest of the world. At another level, however, it is an attempt to understand how non-violent revolution has evolved, and why it produces much better results than rival revolutionary techniques.


A Night at the Proms

British Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS) in conjunction with The Band of the Grenadier Guards present A Night at the Proms at Medicine Hat College. The Band of the Grenadier Guards has been filling the streets of London with music, pageantry and colour for over three centuries, a truly iconic sight and sound. In 2011 the band participated in the procession for the marriage of HRH Prince William to Miss Catherine Middleton. More recently, the band has been particularly busy as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations and the London 2012 Olympics in addition to the named State Ceremonial duties they carry out in their daily routine.

Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy the Grenadier Guards right here at Medicine Hat College. Admission is by donation.
