With the weekly On Campus content moving within our website structure, this blog will be open for MHC employees to share information and connect with each other. Various posts have been started for you to connect with others on campus.

Community Encounters

• Do you like the feeling of helping others?
• Do you want to give back to your Medicine Hat Community but don’t know how?
• Are you looking for a way to meet new co-workers?

If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, then keep reading (even if you answered “no”, keep reading).

Join the new “Community Encounters” group! The group’s goal is to encourage college employees to come together and give back to the larger Medicine Hat community. Throughout the academic year, the group will volunteer for 8-10 activities that focus on helping those in need and fostering community spirit. Community Encounters will be very informal - you can volunteer for as many or as few activities as you would like.  The only requirements to join are a little spare time each month, a desire to help others, and a willingness to have fun!
