Recycle a wide variety of electronics and household items at the annual Saamis Rotary Club Electronic Waste Round-Up. Some items that will be accepted are:
- Computers, monitors, printers, laptops, CPUs
- Small kitchen appliances
- Audio and video equipment, televisions
- Electrical equipment,
- Household tools and electrical power and industrial tools
- Telecommunications equipment
- Photocopiers, fax machines and other office electronics
REDI SHREDI will be onsite to provide free shredding services and CORE will collect old cell phones.
MHC Drop-Off
Skip the line-up on Saturday by dropping off your toasted toasters, your silent sound
systems and your cold hot plates - or anything else with a cord - at the MHC loading dock by noon on Friday, May 11.

Sapper Stephan Stock Memorial Walk for Valour Place
Saturday, May 12, 10 a.m.
Gas City Campground
The proceeds from this memorial walk for MHC alumnus Sapper Stephen Stock will benefit Valour Place. Valour Place, the first facility of its kind in Canada, will provide a home for injured soldiers, veterans, RCMP and their families when in Edmonton for medical treatment and rehabilitation.
Open to all friends, family, military and the general public in support of our troops. Walk all or part of the route and show your support. Click here for more information or to register.
Winning Edge Seminar: Monitoring Athlete Growth and Development

World-renowned coach and educator, Istvan Balyi, will be at Medicine Hat College this month to share his knowledge and experiences regarding athlete growth and development. Important information will be provided for coaches and parents working with developing athletes including safe training techniques for different stages of growth and development. Balyi is currently the resident sport scientist at the
National Coaching Institute of British Columbia and has worked with 16 Canadian national teams in a variety of sports.
