Join the MHC Be Fit for Life Centre in a walk around the beautiful campus. Participants will be entered in a draw for a Winter Walk Day Package.

Beach The Blues

Get ready for Beach the Blues! Put on your best beach gear and stop by the Soft Seat Area between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for some free fun! With activities, mocktails, snacks, and a chance to win some great prizes (including one for best dressed), there is something for everyone. This event is brought to you by the Campus Life Committee and the Global Tourism and Marketing program.



Phi Theta Kappa Class Induction
Monday, February 27
MHC Theatre  6:30 p.m.

The Alpha Tau Delta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa will be inducting our 21st class of membersEstablished in 1918, Phi Theta Kappa recognizes students’ outstanding academic achievements by offering them membership into this prestigious organization. To be eligible for membership, a student must:
  • Be enrolled in a accredited institution
  • Have completed at least 12 credits of coursework in the previous semester
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 in the previous semester
  • Receive an invitation to membership from the chapter at the college where they are enrolled

We invite all faculty and staff to attend the formal induction ceremony, with light refreshments served in the Courtyard Room following the ceremony. Come out and celebrate the academic achievements of our students.


 
Spring Job Fair

The Spring Job Fair is geared for those looking for work of any kind, whether it be a full-time permanent career position, part-time work, summer employment or anything in between. With over 30 employers expected in attendance, this will be the last major recruitment event of this academic year. Help us to make it a success by encouraging our students to attend and possibly secure a job opportunity.

Please note that the Electrical Service will be shut off for annual maintenance from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

There will be interruption to phone, voicemail and IT Services during this period. All buildings will be closed and there will be NO access for staff, students or the general public.
