Congratulations to the Women's Futsal on their ACAC Championship title. The soccer team entered the Conference Championship as the third seed.
They opened up against the fourth seeded Keyano Huskies and thanks to second half goals by Meagan Beatty and Shaleigh Pirie, the Rattlers prevailed 3-1. The Rattlers then squared off with the top-ranked Mount Royal Cougars, winning 5-2. In their final round robin game, the Rattlers battled the Lakeland Rustlers for a 3-1 victory.
In the gold medal game, Kirsten Grover netted a shot five minutes in to give the Rattlers a lead they would hold on to the entire game. An overall team effort on defense and great goaltending helped the Rattlers capture the inaugural ACAC Championship, the schools first Conference Championship since 1999 (Women's Soccer).
The Rattlers men’s squad won bronze during the ACAC tournament. After posting an 0-3 record in the round robin portion of the tournament, the Rattlers found their touch and gained revenge on an earlier defeat to the Keyano Huskies during the Bronze Medal game by 4-1.
Project 50/50

Contribute $10 per month to Project 50/50, a fundraising initiative where half of the proceeds will go to one lucky draw winner each month, and half will go to the Students’ Greatest Needs Scholarship. Split the cheque for a great cause!
Getting involved is easy. Project 50/50 is open to students, alumni and the community. You fill out a pledge form or drop off $10 at College Advancement* before the last Friday of each month and you’ll automatically be entered in a public draw on the first Monday of every month. The more participants the bigger the pot so encourage others to get involved!
The Students’ Greatest Needs Scholarship addresses high need scholarship areas identified on an annual basis. Sign up for Project 50/50 - you’ll support a great cause, and have a chance to win each month.
