Mental Health Awareness Week

The Medicine Hat College Human Rights Committee is hosting a display in the B wing hallway on Wednesday October 10 over the lunch hour. The theme is "Faces of Mental Illness" and MHC is partnering with Canadian Mental Health to provide displays, information and a video. Canadian Mental Health will have a display set up all week on campus. Stop by to learn more!
One Book One Community 2010
This year’s book selection is Three Day Road by Giller Prize winner Joseph Boyden. Copies of the book may be borrowed from the Medicine Hat College Libraries (Vera Bracken Library & Brooks Campus) and the Medicine Hat Public Library.

Activities include guest speakers, a panel discussion, dramatic readings and facilitated book discussions exploring Three Day Road.
Tickets for lunch during One Book One Community on Saturday Oct. 23, 2010 are now available for purchase at the Medicine Hat College Vera Bracken Library and Medicine Hat Public Library. Tickets are $10/person. All other OBOC events are free. Please see http://www.obocmh.ca for more information
