Ride the Big Bike

Go for a ride with the Heart & Stroke Foundation Big Bike event! Medicine Hat College will be entering a team and a total of 28 participants are needed to fill the bike. If you are interested in participating, please contact Sonya at ssoveran@mhc.ab.ca or ext. 3546. Thanks for your support.
Geekapalooza

It looks like the geeks have done it again! The third annual Geekapalooza event is set for AUGUST 19, 2010. Each year the event is held the day after college day when the majority of Faculty and Staff are back on campus from a relaxing summer break. During Geekapalooza, you can learn something new in the world of educational technology; or even get a refresh on some of the technology tools here at MHC.
The event is open to all MHC Faculty and Staff. There is no registration required, so you can pick and choose the sessions you want to attend. There will be 8 concurrent sessions offered throughout the day between 10:00am and 3:00pm. During the lunch break there will be a fun “Dinner and a Movie” session playing a video by Educational Technology Services called “How Students Use Technology to Cheat”. There will be refreshments, free swag, and of course door prizes for those who attend.
