Winter Walk Day 2010
Plan to take a walk on Wednesday, February 10 and be part of Winter Walk Day 2010. In 2009, our region recorded nearly 8500 participants so let's try and beat that number. Walk as an individual, with friends, co-workers or family. Simply email the number of participants and minutes walked to befitforlife@mhc.ab.ca and you could win local prizes. There will be another Conservatory Community Performance this Thursday featuring Michael VanderSloot, Elaine Dobek-Shandro and Con Shandro. Everyone is invited to bring their lunch to Centennial Hall and enjoy this free concert.
Information Technology Services: Noon Hour Information Sessions
Several times throughout the year ITS will host an information sharing session where we will present a topic relating to ITS work at the college, to be followed by a discussion, question and answer period. The first of these sessions is scheduled for Thursday February 11, 2010, noon until 1:00 pm in B242.
The Topic: The MHC Technology Plan 2008-2011
The MHC Technology Plan presents a series of projects to improve and support the college’s computer related technology infrastructure and services. This session will review the plan, noting progress to date, and looking ahead to future plans.
All MHC employees are welcome to attend, no R.S.V.P. required.

Friday Sandbox

The Friday Sandbox is regularly scheduled technology training sessions for MHC faculty and staff. Some will be drop-in times, while other planned sessions require pre-registration.
