 | HET Student Wins Big Congratulations to HET student Clayton Schussler for winning a toolbox valued over $5,000. The toolbox was donated by Sheri Hubrick, the Snap-on dealer in Medicine Hat, and was used as a grand prize in contest between AST and HET apprenticeship students. Contest eligibility was based on a combination of shop and theory marks and the two top scoring students from each program were entered in the draw. “The students took the contest as an incentive to study harder and it had great results. We are hoping to have more donations and contests in the future as incentives for apprentices,” said Nelson Haas, coordinator for the HET program. |
