International Mother Language Day
Thursday, February 17

The Human Rights Awareness Committee is hosting an event called "Love Your Language" as part of International Mother Language Day.

• Displays will be set up in Centennial Hall celebrating the diversity of languages spoken at Medicine Hat College.
• Cathy Borthwick Chalifaux will be speaking at 12 p.m. in Centennial Hall about “Preserving Aboriginal Languages”.

All staff and students are encouraged to take part in these activities.

Annual Power Shutdown
Please note there will be a planned power outage for preventative maintenance on:

• Saturday, June 25 2011 6:00am to 10:00pm
• Sunday, June 26 2011 6:00am to 10:00pm

This power outage will affect the entire Medicine Hat campus site including all buildings and all IT systems (Golfview Residence is excluded). All buildings will be closed and there will be no access for staff or public.
