Employees Complete Academy Training
Three Medicine Hat College employees have taken their leadership skills to the next level following the successful completion of the Academy for Leadership and Development program. Erin Penzes, dean of adult development, Karoline Fox, registration and scheduling manager, and Val Buiac, application services manager recently graduated from the Academy, a program designed to help advance organizational leadership and provide succession planning for leaders in community and technical colleges.

The Academy is a year-long program that includes a week of on-site training; a practicum experience involving implementation of an individualized professional development plan focusing on the application of skills learned during training; a mentor program; and a final week of on-site training consisting of additional leadership issues.

Congratulations Erin, Karoline and Val on your successful completion of this program!
