Homecoming Band Announcement
Homecoming is back and Medicine Hat College is proud to announce that Canadian rock band, Default, will be headlining the free Shake, Rattler and Roll event on Saturday, September 18.
Default’s career got started when they were discovered by Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger shortly after forming in Vancouver in 1999. Kroeger’s interest led him to support the production of their debut album The Fallout. Their latest album, Comes and Goes, debuted in September 2009.
In addition to the concert, the homecoming weekend will include the following events and activities:
Friday, September 17, 2010
- 1982/83 Alumni invitation dinner
Saturday, September 18, 2010
- Rattlers Hall of Fame Breakfast at 9:30 am
- Rattlers Soccer Action (Women @ Noon, Men @ 2 p.m.)
- Family Fun Zone gates open at 4 pm
- Kinsmen Beer Gardens gates open at 4 pm
- Concert starts at 7 p.m. with opening act, Rob Hudec Band
New Travel Reimbursement Rates
Effective July 1, 2010, reimbursement rates for meals and the “per kilometre” rates have changed. The new rates are:
Meals: $44.00 per day ($10.00 Breakfast; $12.00 Lunch; $22.00 Supper)
Personal Vehicle: $0.44 per km
College Vehicle Chargeback: $0.44 per km
All other rates remain unchanged.
